GlassStarz is right I always thought it would be stupid for me to go into a lot and tell them the benefits of repairing like they never heard it before 99.9% already know this. I haven't had much luck with dealers in my area of michigan they are too cheap it seems. I don't see anything wrong with sending a letter first then stopping by, maybe they will actually remember seeing your letter it could help.
You know how auto salespersons are always pushing customers to take a test drive? Well, when I got serious about going after car lots I sent personal invitations (like a humorous party invitation) to the sales manager or used car manager inviting them to "test drive" my service. It offered a free repair to show quality. The invite also outlined my experience. When I showed up for a face-to-face, many remembered the funny invite.
