The week before last I was doign repairs at 5 degrees.... I actually like glass to be 20 to 60 degrees when I work on it...

Rottdawg,
My advice to you would be to make sure you see all the visible legs flexing(from the outside of the glass) before you start to repair. This should ensure a) good access for the resin and b) show up any hidden legs which could crack off under pressure. I also feel glass hardness/stress is affected by age and curvature, I've nothing difinitve, just my experience.
