Hello Forum,
There is apparently a chemical liquid, which if applied to the surface of glass (sprayed or brushed on), will remove or dissolve weld spatter and angle grinder iron filings embedded in the glass normally caused by accidental damage.
Does anyone know of this product and where I might be able to get it from?
Thankyou
Weld Spatter in Glass

Re: Weld Spatter in Glass
I attempted to remove some once with no luck. I called my tech support (Glas-Weld) they said don't waste your time.
Re: Weld Spatter in Glass
I saw a similar windshield recently where metal grindings had embedded themselves in the glass. I was able to easily remove the metal just by sliding a razor blade across the glass (improved the look) but the tiny pits remained. I tried to polish out one of the pits but that didn't work. I couldn't fill all of the pits with pit filler, there was just too many of them. So I told the owner that if the little pits bothered him he would have to replace the windshield.
