Your correct grouselab, but not in all states currently. Also if you have a customer from Texas that has Mercury insurance they no not waive either, the majority of insurance companys do waive the deductable. If there is a question the phone # for the insurance companies TPA is listed on the card, usually on the back. It will say something like "to report a claim" or "for glass only damage" then the 800 # and so on... Most companies use the same TPA and they have repair folks ready to harvest your prospect!! A word to the wise, if you haven't started the job before you call them train your customer to be ready for their steering pitch. It happens very often and if your doing the work when they pitch it no problem but if your waiting to prequalify, the customer may be persuaded to go with their company, as they (their insurance companys rep) will tell them "You are not a preferred provider", "not on their list", and a few other choice methods of STEALING away your prospect. I have been on their "list" for 4 years and do stellar work and they will try this still, so beware of the steering element.
Good luck, or sell for cash, it's a better way to go anyway!! Scott
My best mentor one said " be fair with your priceing but never too low, be honest with your customer/competition, when the day is done be sure you have done "good works", and always leave something of value on the barganing table!!

While my friend and trainer/ mentor Ray has moved on, his words live.

About 5 years ago I posted an in depth list of various insurance companies that acknowledged WSR. DK put it somewhere with a link to it but I am not sure how to get it at this point. Keep in mind it is out dated now. If you are signed on with the networks the will supply that info as well.

Jeff, can you help out on this one?

Thanks Jeff.

I anticipate a whole bunch of posts regarding direct billing due to the statement on the list. I want to make mention that I no longer direct bill. This is for a couple reasons but it is possible if you want to deal with the aggravation involved.
