Repair footprints

Post by Glasseye »

I think I asked this a few months ago but just in case someone has found a cure - I did a repair on a Renault car yesterday with one of these tinted glasses that has a special reflective layer built into the glass/pvb. Repair was fine, but the " footprint" of the damage was still showing on the layer. I had already explained to the customer what to expect, so there was no surprises. Has anyone out there found a remedy for this???
Is a customer always right? - No, but they are always the customer.

There is no cure. It is important that these repair's are done a soon as possible and even that may be to late. Any moisture in these screen's does more damage than a usual PVB layer. If my old brain would let me I would let you know what it is coated with but at the moment it will not.
