Pit Filler Not Clear And Abit Rubbery!!!

If the resin is very well cured ( the curing tab flicks off easily) it polishes up very nicely, but if the curing tab still sticks slightly it comes out more dull.
It also seems as if heat is the main culprit when polishing. Keep it cool with slow and not too heavy strokes and as everyone has said - practice.
