I have never used Rain X or Aquapel before. What would the pros and cons of these two prducts against Nanotec and vice versa. Your professional opinions on this one would be appreciated.

they all do the same thing i guess its what you like best but rainex can be bought by the customer and applyed easy so they might be hesitant to pay much to have it applied by you go with something they havnt heard of

RainX lasts 1 maybe 2 car washes or rain storms depending on wiper usage. Aquapel claims 6 months, (best I got was 4). Nanotec claims 30k to 50k. So far my Nanotec shield has 2 years and 42k. Rain still beads and runs off , just as it did when first applied with no re-application. There is also Diamond Fusion and a few others.

Sunshine wr, in one of the earlier treads, you rated Nanotec highly. Do you still feel the same about its capabilities against its competition?

Yes, I use it as an up-sell on retail . When I it's feaseable, by that I mean If the shield doesn't already have a RainX type product on it even if they're using rainx type washer fluid it will have to be removed from the shield before the Nanotec can be applied . Washing silicone from a shield is time consuming.
