Curious, why would you want to train your potential customers on how to repair a windshield? Seems counter productive unless you plan on being distributer of WSR tooling and supplies! At the risk of sounding like a smart a**, all the information is right here for your taking and it is FREE.

I myself would be promoting all the benefits of WSR if you are a technician trying to promote your business.

Maybe I was not clear with the above post.

I don't want to train my customers on how to replace/windshield.

I want to help them get useful information on how to save money or to help them search for a good service provided. When car needs a repair I usually would like to know what's wrong and what is the average price for the repair.
It is all common sense.

I thought members of this forum would have this info, but I'm beginning to think something else.

Yes, it was not clear, yes it is good to know average price but that varies across the country, Yes it is common sense and Yes the members have this information and have willing shared it all right here. You just have to look for it.

Think what you want! I personally don't get any benefit from this forum other than the information about windshield. In fact, most visitors from this forum that visit my website are spammers.

I have other means to get my customers. If your willing to do a search for your business and promote it you would have taken the opportunity a few months ago. I'm the type of person that tries new things and be ready for the future. When I'm not working, I spend my time looking for other means to make this business more accessible to customers nationwide.

So many times I have seen post about this business is too slow or other people are charging less for the same service. I know people that are making a lot of money each week without reducing their normal rate, while others charge less and don't have that many customers. It is not about money is about the quality and recognition in your field.

As my signature and name come on people don't make me laugh! This is a new project because I see that the internet is very cheap and easy to promote your business. It will be great source for customer and auto glass owners and that's my goal. I'm sorry to read that some of you see it differently.

I advertise my auto glass business in my area anywhere that I can and with great results. I earn enough money to make a good living, so the purpose of this new website was to help others do the same. You'll see what I'm talking about in few years.

BTW - are you going to think the same when ask or post something on this forum?

I personally have no problem with your post but will admit I'm somewhat skeptical at this point. Are you a windshield repair tech or just another WSR/web person trying to make an easy dollar off the rest of us?
