L.i.p.s

Post by screenman »

We have tried a new dry out system we call L.I.P.S. Basically on a wet break you get inside the car, if it is locked we advise you use the keys. Locate the damage and place your lips against the inside of the screen as if you are going to kiss it then blow as hard as you can. We have found about 50% of the moisture comes out on the first blow and the rest on the second. Do not suck as this will bring moisture back into the damage. On low down damage such as behind the dash use your normal method.

Are you trying to tell us you are full of British hot air?;) Would you post a picture of your technique so we can see how good you are at blowing!

I will stick to my usual method of inonized infused particle insertion.

P.S.
Do not try this method on frozen windshields!

Actually, I prefer using the "DeWalt DC500 2 Gallon 18-Volt Cordless/Corded Wet/Dry Vaccuum" to remove moisture. It's portable, works great and sucks way better than any U.K. lips would:wink:

What day is this?
