replacement windshield leaking and cracked in frit
Re: replacement windshield leaking and cracked in frit
Pilkington, formerly known as LOF is the BEST in my opinion!

AGSS, you have been in this business much longer than I have , I just look around the corner to say.
You know your way around and be able to pinpoint the suppliers who might have a windschield to fit my Fiat.
I rather be informed now than have to hunt for it when I need one.
Keep me informed.
Thanks, have a Happy Easter.

You can't mention the word glass without thinking of the name Pilkington. They invented the " float" process, used in the manufacture of high quality glass. If you want to no more look them up on pilkington.com.
Is a customer always right? - No, but they are always the customer.

chipss1144,
To keep it straight, the Fiat is 20 years old and for cars this age there are no CO2 regulations that apply.
Plus its'n DIESEL , no catyllic converter.
To increase the performance on my 1986 Pontiac Fiero I removed the cat ,installed a straight pipe , same rule applies here : older than 20 years NO emission/CO2 check.
They will check head- and dim lights, turn signals, horn, brakes, tires, windshield, seatbelts and the side impact bars in the driver and passenger doors.
To get around all this jazz, brand new Lamborginies are tittled 20 years back.
Interested buying one, fax me your ok , full pop up front , green ones only.
