Samething here , ok , w're all in the same business only to repair chips and cracks .
But atleast we get to know the person thas has a question is not someone standing in the desert yelling for help, than we know his enviremont.
We here south , have to deal with a lot of sun, windschields that hot you can fry an egg on , any tech up north deals with rain and much colder windschields.
For this reason the advise can be differently , taking in consideration the curcumstances the tech works in and has to deal with.
Just my thoughts.

I receive brochures from companies, Cardservice Int'l and Innovative , that offer equipment to use when a customer prefers to pay their w/s repair bill with a credit card .
After signing up a contract with one of the above , how much can I expect to see my telephone bill increase.
I'll be working mobil and use my cell phone to hook it up with.
Anyone using this equipment and what is your experience .
How many days does it take until the $$ are deposited ?

My merchant card vendor provides a toll-free (800) number to call in for approvals. I use my cell phone which has 1,000/mo free minutes. No cost to me.

Funds are deposited within 2 days.

I would think that just about everyone now days has nationwide calling plans. Calling 800 numbers sometimes is VERY expensive with some plans. I would get a direct number from them to call.

Hi Bois,
Who is your merchant vendor card holder, anyone of the two I mentioned, and what's their charge per month or better what's their 1-800 number than I drop a line to get all info.

cazador, I use The [Texas] Independent Bankers Bank (tibsite.com). I got all my information from my local bank (not one of these national banks like Chase). Steve Lang at TIB assisted me with set-up questions. Their customer service nbr is 800-327-0053.

They charge me $6.00/mo fee plus 3.24% of transaction amount plus $0.70 for telephone dial-up & authorization. I use a manual "knuckle buster" machine to imprint receipt and then, using my cell phone, dial in the information (automated system - no person). Simple! Receive credit within 2-3 days.

Bois,
This afternoon before I read your thread I checked with my bank, BoA and they set me up with a DIAL-PAY program .
Set-up fee $50.00.
Monthly Ongoing Fee $9.95
The ,,knuckel-buster,, imprinter machine a 1-time charge $30.00 and for every credit card handling 2,12% plus $0.60 transmission/authorization fee.
No contract, I can bail out any time.
All together from every $50.00 chip repair it cost me $1.66 in fees.
Because I signed up for their plan I received some WELCOME MONEY, because I opened a business account ($50), applied for a business credit card ($50) and the BoA Merchant Service ($100) total $200 straight into my account , not bad !
Comparing my plan with yours, it really doesn't make all that much differance, except for those 200 bucks !
Thanks anyway for your info.

OSADEBE,
I'm not interested in a speed course shorthand and hopefully with me the other Forum members neither.
As one of the Forum members mentioned some time back and I'm repeating him : Let's communicate in readable English .
