The Laundry

Post by Bois »

Does anyone know how to get resin stain & smell out of clothing?

Yesterday I placed a bottle of DK Premium Bond in my jacket pocket to keep it warm (we've been having cool mornings). Unknowingly, the cap was not on tight and some leaked out.:eusa_doh: Wet my jacket pocket, soaked through my pants and shirt tails. I didn't realize it until I got home and told my wife that DK must be adding something to their resin because it smells worse. Two machine washing with Tide and the smell, although less, is still there.

Maybe I should have put my clothes under a UV light and cured it.;)

We definitely do NOT recommend storing resin in your pocket, for this reason especially.

Bois, are you using MagniBond or Premium Bond nowadays? MagniBond has less acrylic acid, and works just as well. Doesn't smell as bad either.
