Before and After Photos!

Hi everyone, I've been trying to get some before and after photos of stone chips for my advertising pamphlet and can't believe how difficult it is to photograph the little sods. I've tried with white paper background in sunlight, in shade from every possible angle on bullseyes, stars and combos. Has anybody got any suggestions?:mad:

Copy the chips from the brochures you can get from the resin and/or tool suppliers , like Delta Kits , Liquid Resins or Glass Technology to call some.
