Thanks for all your help. I didn' think it would be worth it but just wanted to get some experienced advice. I did get listed on yahoolocal, googlelocal, superpages, merchantcirlce and yellowpages.com all for free though. I would definately recommend all of those, most even provide a link to your website for free.

I have been advertising in the yellowpages for several years and only get a few jobs a year but keep it up to make myself look more professional. It costs me $300.00 a year plus your listed at yellowbook.com I think it is worth it for me at that price.

You have to know your market. How do people find what they want in your area?
The yellow pages is a driving force in our area. It works very well.
What reaches people? If it works for another business it will work for you.
