No problem Mrchip you have your opinion and I have mine that is what makes this a great open forum.

Thanks very much for the feedback, everyone!
screenman, it could very well be as you say. The condition of these trucks' and their windshields was deplorable--- they've definitely been neglected for some time. Most of them had anywhere between 5-7 chips, with no sign of previous repair in sight.

Re: Strange Phenomena...
well sqailey with that new info I would say screenman has a point..I was under the impression you had been servicing them and all of a sudden you had a new problem..but if they are old and it sounds like it ..then i would agree with screenman...
Re: Strange Phenomena...
mrchip,
I read segailey's post just as you had. I assumed he had been working this fleet account for some time and just recently incountered some problems.
Screenman is correct in stating older non-repaired damage can suffer PVB delamination and cloudiness. However, in my situation that was not the case.
I serviced this fleet every other week for 5 years and noticed changes to my repairs within one month. These where cabs less than a year old and I knew it wasn't my repairs, it was something other. High acid wash chemicals!
Hopefully in the future people that post here are more specific and detailed about there individual problem. It would really help us avoid unecessary feedback or confrontation between ourselves.
