Any advantages new versus old injector?

I have seen some positive comments on the new delta injector, but are there actually any practical advantages as per daily use? I need to add an extra bridge and may then have to consider replacing my older injector then as well.
Basically the older one was a good injector and does this mean the new one does a better job?

The new bridge was designed for useing the eye dropper for transfering the chemical inside the injector.

Your Question does the new injector does a better job, that is a good question but I thinks they both do a good job for what the were designed for.

Also the injector operator goal should always do a better job...

Thanks for the reply, I think you have answered my question. Whether using an odd pair or a matched pair after buying an additional one is thus up to me. Pity Delta does not sell the older types anymore.

Check with Matt for an older type injector , in the wharehouse there are still some laying around.
Hope I don't shoot my mouth, but having them laying on the shelve won't do anybody good, to me business is businees, turn them into money!

This is an interesting point... kinda like the Zen of Motorcycle Maintenance... do official training seminars, various certifications, membership in associations, expensive injectors & bridges, Super-Extra cherry flavored high-dollar resins...etc mean anything or is the important thing how well one repairs a windshield? Hmmm

Some of the skilled guys on this site could probably do a better repair with Elmers Wood glue and a 7-iron than some hacks with $20k in supplies...

You bet, tooling is only as good as the person using it. You mention some of the skilled techs here being able to make due with mix and match or crude equipment and still produce quality repairs. Since you did not include yourself in this group, does that mean you are a hack? As you put it!

Hats off for your opinion and statement.
Experience comes over the years and in the meantime it doesn't matter what kind of tools the person uses , as long he arrives at his goal to become a professional w/s repair tech.
My 2 pennies worth !
