Nite Time Repairs

Now that time has changed ( for the worse) and winter is close have any of you done repairs at nite with just poratble lite or street lites?

Does it make the repair harder to do?

I do repairs for some rental companies in parking decks and one whose lot is located inside a warehouse. I don't have any problems with it. One upside to it is you don't have to worry about uv getting to the resin until you are ready for it.

Hey Jim,
I have done lots of night time repairs. You are going to need a strong UV light, I belive you have one, at least I remember you having one. I personaly used to carry around those Halogen Lamps and set those up facing the car when I did night time repairs. I havn't done one in quite a while, I recommend doing them in the sunlight, but if you can't just make sure the area is lite well. Hope that helps.

Nighttime repairs can be done and are done all the time. Make sure you watch your repair make sure you see it feel. I have found that artificial lighting can sometimes give you funky reflections and you don

Mr. P. I've found it's not worth it. You need light coming in at 360 degrees. The light refraction in the cracks will play tricks on you. With light bulbs the light only comes in at one angle and from one or more sources. You need light coming in from all angles, as the sun does. It can be done but the repair will also not look as good when it's done under portable or spot lights. My advice, just accept the fact that there's not as many hours to work and you won't make as much $ during the 3 months of nov, dec, and jan.
