I am just starting out, how do you all get these customers?
If you are not doing work with companies, I assume, where are you getting the individual customer?
Would like your input.
Thanks

Don, anyone will tell you its being in the right place at the right time.. Is your vehicle lettered? So, potential customers see you first.. Plant the seed and it will grow.. When I first started I hit up beauty salons with flyers, barber shops, even putt flyers with tear off (phone number) tabs in the grocery stores It works! Being seen is very important.. People are not mind readers.. So if they see your vehicle or jacket/uniform they will inquire.. As for finding customers, yes Corporate centers are a mega plex of cars.. But not always friendly about letting vendors do their thing.. Try advertising in the local "free" classifieds, see if you can start drawing some cliental. good luck.

The best places to go is wherever there are cars. I personaly like small business complex's but anywhere will work. You just have to get creative in your thinking.

Personaly I have never had a check bounce in all these years. If they do bounce it, no big deal, most people aren't going to freak out over $50 bucks, just go get your money from them. Its not a big deal, still hasn't ever happened to me though.

With the banks here, if a check bounces, even though it's not your fault it is a $25.00 debit to your account plus minus the check amount.
Pretty rotten policy here. Anyone else have this problem?

Jerry,

Try writing some positives on here once in a while! It will make you feel much better about yourself!!! Being in Michigan, I could complain daily about how bad the economy is here but I choose not too! In your area of Texas, the economy is booming! Everybody I know in my area is moving down there because the jobs, money and opportunities are better than here.

I like reading about your guys success, but i seem to be having a problem.
Went out yesterday to business locations, went in the door, " said I was just doing a repair" and had a few minutes and noticed a couple cars that need repair...the person never found out who they were or anything....so I left my card and even put one on the windhsields.

Then went to the next business...got nowhere...now I understand you guys are cold calling,,,but how do you get in the face of those who need a repair?

This is right now not working out..could really use your help..
thanks
Don
