You have to feel a bit for the guys that have bought franchises on the back of insurance work. Personaly I do very little insurance work and prefer to collect payment from customer so this will not affect me. However it will be interesting to see how many car park guys start chasing fleet etc. Grateful that I took the time and effort to learn PDR.
There is still more than enough work about for any quality repair person with average or better selling skills.

The attitude of the claims manager was.
1) who are you guys, never heard of you (depite us spending thousands on admiral leaflets for insertion in policies)
2) we drive a hard bargain with our existing suppliers and we"trust them" to do repairs where they are necessary.
I think he deserves the suppliers he has got really. he did not believe that it was against the majors policy to do MOT failures when we all know it is.
