Nice Ride Doc. Love the TRD supercharger. I love Taco's, I am on my second one. 2005, 4x4, DBL Cab, 5 SPD. Being we are realatively close, I would like to take a ride out to see it sometime.

I'm surprised they allow this post to stand since other have been removed for having phone numbers. Nothing like showing off your truck and getting some free ad time worldwide with your phone number!

Well its not like my truck pics are not posted all over the internet.. Available to be seen at more than 200 car/truck show photo files, forums, show coverage web magazines etc.. And as for the advertising on "this" site.. My phone has not rang yet.. So, let this be a lesson to the rest of you.. It does not pay to advertise on this site.. LOL But, seriously.. If the pics offend Brent, he will take them down.. There was no intent meant towards the free advertising.. Was just showing my work truck.. If I wanted to advertise my number, I would post a pic on a banner to be inserted on a porn site that draws a little more traffic than this site does.. Nothing personal, but I've not seen very many nights when the site was bogged down from the extra visitors..

For those that take 2 weeks or 9 weeks off for vacation, what are you doing for coverage on your accounts? Do you have others working for you or do you change your answering machine to inform customers of your absence? My wife really wants to know!!

I used to worry.. So much so, i'd hire (sub-contract)another independent to cover for me. Gave him 75% of anything he made. Did i worry he would try to take my accounts? No, He resides an hour north of me, semi-retired, has no desire to work more than 12 hours a week much less per day.. Yep, thats what I used to do... What I found was, especially the dealerships would take advantage of this.. They would call him out everyday to do (or look at) one repair.. P'eed me off to say the least.. So.. now days, I submit a notice to them (my accounts) of when I am leaving, when I'll be back and that I'll play catch up upon my return.. I change my voice mail giving the dates i will be closed, and urge my callers to leave a message and I'll return their call when I get back.. Do I lose any work? probably, but not enough to be concerned over.. I do have to bust my hump for a week to 10 days after getting back just to get caught back up.. But, if you are great (not good) at what you do, people will wait for you.. To prove this point I'll ask.. How many times have any of you waited at a restaurant for more than an hour to be fed? If you like the food, the service, the ambience the wait is nothing.. So, I'll say to anyone.. Go.. take time off, enjoy life.. you only get one chance to live it the way you want to..

I wasn't criticizing you for posting pics of your truck. I was just saying that usually when they see something that goes against the TOS, they are quick to remove it.

And hey, I'm GREAT at what I do too but even my best customers aren't going to wait WEEKS for me to fix their windshield! And I wouldn't expect them to.
