Second Bridge & Injector

Post by Guelster »

I am looking to purchase a second bridge & Injector.
I already own the Delta B300 and am very pleased with it. But I am thinking of going with a different one for my second.
I was thinking of the GT Spectrum or the Liquid Resin MVP 360. I am interested in what people think, who own either one of these other two. I already know most of you are going to say "why not go with another Delta"? The reason is, I want variety. I want to see how they differ. So please all your input will be appreciated.

I find the LR to be my favorite it works well on vert glass and well in the cold. Also with the bottom feed system I find I use half as much resin as the other systems.I have had several for about 4 yrs with no complaints

Variety can be a good thing. I remember you said you were going to the Mobile Trim Expo since you just got into the biz. Where you able to see the companies you ask about first hand?

Curious, is your need for this variety due to your current tooling limitations or just for the sake of buying new tooling to have? If you have identified a problem that you are not able to overcome could you please post so we can help and possibly save you money.

My offer is still stands if you want help as well since we are close.

No I never did make it to FLA in January. But I am headed down south in a few weeks for the next few months. I plan on doing WS repair there as well. Instead of trying to lug my equipment back & forth to FLA, I want to get a second set all together. I found no problems with the B300 at all, I still think it is a very good piece of equipment.

Just my opinion. Keep to the same type and even model if you can. This makes parts interchangeable and your experience/ skill on one is immediately of use on the other.
If you are new, using two different types could maybe cause you to confuse the basic steps.

If you are an experienced tech then why not try another flavor? You will also then be able to pick out the advantages and be able to compare.

By the way, the Delta bridge works perfectly with bottom loading for vertical truck glass!

After carefully reviewing the other two I mentioned above. I am happy to announce I went & ordered another Delta B300
I firmly believe this piece of equipment to be very beneficial to this trade.
Thank You everyone for all your input! :) I also ordered some PLATE GLASS RESIN as my pit fill. I am going by SGT's comments on it. He claims it works out very well for him..thank you!
