Post by SGT »

Hey guys,

For those that get custom invoices printed, if you are happy with your current sources price and quality, please share. I recently redesigned my invoice and need a referral. Thanks.

Thanks DOC!

I will check them out. I would have thought more were using custom printed invoices. Perhaps most use generic store bought or homemade invoices to meet there needs.

Homemade invoices? Yeah, my 2 year old daughter can do some amazing things with crayons! I'm thinking of having her design some vehicle graphics for me too!

Splitpit,

Please do share with the forum. We already know the level of your professionalism here on the forum and would expect nothingless in all areas outside of this arena as well.

I personally have homemade color wholesale invoices that are 1 part that I photo copy at my fleet accounts. I can assure you they are professional looking and can be be done. What I am referring to is a 3 part carbonless invoice for retail/insurance work. Unfortunately I can not do that or I would. Who do you use for your printing was the question, care to share sir?

Depending on how well your daughter does with the crayons, I could have you make the invoices.

I use my local mom and pop shop. They beat out the chains by a long shot. I buy a year or two at a time for the price break. For lets say 20. extra for twice as much it is worth it.... Check with your local and see what they can offer, If you have it on disc or flash drive that will save your design fee. Plus your can put your cards in there show room and get others that buy from them.... Free advertizment...

Suport your locals if you have one in your town....

I use a local hometown shop for all of my invoices, marketing materials, business cards, etc.

My daughter's skills are strictly improvisational!

I have used NEBS in the past. The will customize an invoice to fit your needs, or at least they used to. I had my logo on the top, all the required info fields for insurance companies, and a disclaimer on the bottom.

Nebs is the way to go in my opinion, the also have convenient dispensers for ease of tracking month to month invoices and recipes. Easy way of doing your books. JMO, Scott
My best mentor one said " be fair with your priceing but never too low, be honest with your customer/competition, when the day is done be sure you have done "good works", and always leave something of value on the barganing table!!

While my friend and trainer/ mentor Ray has moved on, his words live.

You can always order samples of the product for free from NEBS to see what you think.
