Re: U-Tube Crack Repair
A crack can be filled with just about any low viscosity liquid, and from certain directions will be nearly invisible. Used car lots and auction yards have used this type of temporary cosmetic improvement for years to deceive their customers.
I'm not sure whether I will leave it up or not, but maybe, just maybe, it will serve as a "what not to do" video.
Just in case there is anyone reading this forum that does not understand how professional windshield repairs are accomplished, the u-tube videos are "not" how professionals repair windshields.

That's the way my GrandPa would have done it! He died 20 years ago at the age of 96 and I don't think Magnibond was available back then.

Re: U-Tube Crack Repair
I just had to see this one, then noticed that there are quite a few other clips and even one where the poor repair tech is shown heating the damage from the inside many times, wiping the black off, and going it with the lighter again and again.
I started feeling quite sorry for him later.
