Re: Kits
Take photos of everything, including the light that does not fit in the case. Box it up, send it back with return receipt or insured so someone has to sign for it. Call your credit card company, open a dispute claim "item not as advertised" , send them copies of the pics as well as the advertisement, then wait.. Patiently.. Your credit card company should be able to reverse he charges on your card getting you your money back in 6 months, or less... Good luck..

Re: Kits
If you paid via credit card that is good advice, You should get an immediate reverse charge, depending on the card. Poor service says alot, delta would never treat you that way!! Peanuts please Brent!!!Glassdoc;29863 wrote:Take photos of everything, including the light that does not fit in the case. My best mentor one said " be fair with your priceing but never too low, be honest with your customer/competition, when the day is done be sure you have done "good works", and always leave something of value on the barganing table!!
While my friend and trainer/ mentor Ray has moved on, his words live.

Re: Kits
The WD injector will work and do a average repair but when that tough one comes along where you need good pressure or some strong vac your out of luck you will have to resort to the old match trick or some other heat source. My first kit several years ago was thier basic one I worked with it for a few months before changing again it will work just take your time use some heat and dry out everything and as the money comes in slowley replace it with better gear

Re: Kits
Now I don't know the good folks over at WD but I can't imagine that all this bad press is worth the little bit of profit they got on that one sale. If they are anything like me they probably don't visit competitors sites much, so it is quite likely that they don't realize how damaging an unfortunate incident like this can be, or how easy it would be to clear their good name.
For all I know Delta Kits is taking a bashing on all the other windshield repair forums out there, but unless some kind sole does me the courtesy of informing me of where I went wrong, I will never know about it. Hopefully someone will be kind enough to let WD know how beneficial it would be to issue a refund. After all, this is only one public windshield repair forum, and there are plenty of others to voice your opinion on.
Fender, you seem like a reasonable guy to me, so I'll bet you would be willing to chalk this all up to a simple misunderstanding if you were allowed to return the system for a full refund, am I right? Maybe they were just having a bad day over at WD, or maybe it's a disgruntled employee. I for one would give them the benefit of the doubt if this issue is handled properly from this point forward.
I understand your frustration and I don't have a problem with you relating an experience you have had with a supplier, good or bad, but please keep in mind this forum was not created to promote, or to bash our competition, or your competition for that matter.
I really hope you get your money back soon and we can get on to more positive topics.
