Training DVD's

Post by rowdy13 »

Anyone have an opinion on "The Best" windshield repair training video on the market today? I'm going to the GT training in a couple of weeks, but that will be a one day training, maybe stretch it into two days. I would like to buy a great training video that isnt system specific, that also goes into long cracks. and when I say long cracks, I mean 3 or 4 inches, and how to use the long crack bridges. I would really like to be able to call someone locally and see if they would take me along with them to learn things, but I highly doubt that anyone would take me up on that, so , I want to get a training DVD. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

3 -4" long should not need crack jacks...
GT also has a CD on cracks only... You can buy one and work with it before you get there. That way you have heads up on what you are doing.....

I know moisture is my thing as it affects us a lot over here, make sure GT go over and over dry out with you, learn dry out before cracks.

Hey Screenman. I noticed you are living in Lincolnshire England. I looked up Lincolnshire on the internet and saw a lot of pictures. what a beautiful place!! It's got to be pretty cool to live in such a historic city.

It is a nice place to live, unfortunately I am nearly as old as some of the historic buildings. It is also the least populated county in the UK so there is a bit of travelling between small cities if you want to find lots of work.

Yesterday I ordered the training DVD's and manual that is offered by Righlook. The training system was $124.00, but they sold it to me for
$84.00. I wasnt going to buy it, but they made an offer I couldnt refuse. The guy told me its a two hour DVD with a manual, and I think some material having to do with the business end of the windshield repair business. Surely I can learn "something" from it.

Hey Screenman, If I come to Lincolnshire, will you teach me windshield repair? I figure I could learn/work for you for a couple of weeks, and pay for some of my trip.
