Magazines
Re: Magazines
Hey Brent, here's a marketing idea for Delta if you have not thought of it already... You should compile all the best posts that provide extremely relevant and valuable information that have been discussed on this forum over the last few years and put together a paper copy and sell them as a book for $39.95 a wack. Delta could make some coin. Maybe even include a copy in every kit you sell. It could be titled "The Delta Post" and could be revised and re-published once a year or every two-years. Or you could even make it into a magazine that comes out every month or two. It would be another way to get your name and your product into the hands of your customers.
The forum has always been great, but I would bet there are a lot of people who would gladly pay money for a hard-copy of the really really good stuff. I mean there is great stuff on this forum and it goes back for several years, so there is definately plenty of material there.

Re: Magazines
That's a great idea. I had not really thought about that, but I had thought about compiling my favorite posts and/or threads into a sub-forum and titling it "moderator's favorites" or something like that. I often get comments from new members saying that they get a lot from the forum but don't like wading through all the irrelevant posts. Unfortunately I am already very far behind with our newsletters, so that thought will need to remain on the back burner for awhile. Fortunately the reason I am so far behind is because business has been so good.Sneck;31202 wrote:Hey Brent, here's a marketing idea for Delta if you have not thought of it already... I agree Brent. Business has been rather slow here of late...I think that the economy has a lot to do with it. For many folks money is tight and they tend to let repair to the glass slip right by.
