Plastic Cap

Sometimes I think it would he handy to have a plastic cap to put over the end of the injector when I remove the bridge from a repair and apply a cure tab. The plastic cap would keep the light and crud off the end of the injector and prevent resin from curing on the injector until I get a chance to clean it in denatured alcohol.
Does anybody have any ideas about this?
What could I use?

I may leave the door open hear for some good old fashion ribbing with this comment but here you go...Wipe, blow and go. Seriously. If I understand you correctly you are concerned with the time period between when you move the injector and start curing the repair. Personally I remove the injector, start the cure and then partial clean my injector. I do not know what system you use but with the Delta tooling we are talking a matter of seconds for this transition. Certainly not long enough to weld your injector together. I hear this happenes alot if you do not multi task while it is curing though.

Next time you bump into the PDR man ask him if he has any rubber tips for the end of his dent tools, these will do the job you require, before cleaning my bridges go straight into the bottom of my UV resistant tool box with the lid shut.

If you do any car lot work.. Look in a Chevy Cavalier or Pontiac Sunfire under the front seats there will be a rubber cap over each front seat bolt, GRAB 1 and try it. I used to use these tips on PDR tools a lot.

Great web site and company response! E-mailed a request for some samples and within 3-4 days received two bags full of caps and plugs. Works great capping off my PRISM injector openings.
