i just started fixing chips at this car wash a couple months ago, very slow car wash here in town. they charge me 500$ a month to be there. somedays i get 0 repairs, this month about 5 days with 0 profit. but they dont care, and still demand the 500$ every month. i was wondering how to improve business.

Change location, it would be better to pay a $1000 per month at a sight that will see 3 times as many cars if that is the way you want to do business.
Take the time to work out how many cars go through the wash and divide the $500 by that number it will tell you how much each one costs you, you can then use this figure in deciding other locations, that figure will also tell you your hit rate, 100 cars through wash 10 repairs carried out = 1 in 10 use you. As for sales tips just use the forum and you will see a wealth of information, go Coistering, or as one old member used to say, do not wait for your boat to come in swim out and get it, or if you want it hard do not sit around a slow car wash place all day doing nothing. Amazing how if something is not working we sometimes just do more of the same.

Location not working out move to another either that or explain to the owner that his buisness isnt providing enough customers thus you will be there less days and will now be paying accordingly the common sence will tell him some money is better than no money

what's "coistering"?

yea i would offer him less money, but he's unreasonable. he's just a greedy dick and knows his car wash is failing, with his old brushes, laundry detergent soap, lousy graphics, the thing practically just sprays water on the car that's it. not to mention his wife runs the show, a mean spirited korean lady.

simple tell him "Dude you are not pulling your end of the deal by providing me a steady supply of customers so we need to renegotiate our contract!" if he doesnt like it explain that you will be leaving and that means no $ at all from you if he is as greedy as you say he will get it as a old sales manager told me over and over "DEAL FROM STRENGTH" and if the place is a dump do you really want your name to be linked to it anyway?
