I drive a 1995 Ford Windstar and a local shop here wanted $75.00 a piece for the two side windows and $100.00 for the back window. All I was asking for was Windshield Repair and my phone number. I decided to do it myself. I purchased 3" letters at Hobby Lobby for around $8.00 and presto I was in business. This weekend I am doing the back window for around $12.00 I am using a combination of 2" and 1 1/2" letters.

I also use magnetic signs that I purchase from Vistaprint.com. They usually have specials that make them really afffordable.

Yea,the magnets are the economical way to go.I got mine really cheap.I am going to look into a wrap for the entire car but I am sure that it is very expensive.

I did mine myself as we have a vinyl machine...Expect to pay $2000 and up for your wrap.

I got mine for something like $450, not a complete wrap, but pretty well decorated, and I installed myself (since that is one of the things I do). I'd post a pic, but it's in wife's very sick computer. It is an advertisement wherever you go.

i got mine for under $300... your problem is the wrap. you should roam around like i did to find a cost-effective vehicle wraps in florida.

hey Bill ...wraps are very expensive and doubt very seriously you would make your money back..also it better be a car or truck you plan to keep for a while to put that much money into it..also a down side is that if and when you do get rid of it taking off wrap would be very time consuming and also has been said to ruin paint under wrap

Careful when adding permanent lettering or signage on your vehicle. Certain states, (including mine -California) require a commercial license for permanent signage and they routinely issue citations. In these states you can use magnetic and other removable signs. Its worth checking with your state and local business office.
