Even though I'm partial to Glasweld, I would agree with several folks here that proper training is VERY important. In fact, I would say a crappy system in the hands of a highly qualified technician could easily produce a better repair than a top-shelf system in the hands of an amatuer.

I good system with great training + lots of practice, is ideal.

We have some of them, but as I said, I don't sell competitor's equipment. If I did that I might be offering trade in discounts on the same equipment over and over again.

If that's the equipment you want, I suggest checking eBay or calling GW direct.

As for more exspensive tooling being able to do superior repairs well I say no to price if you are compareing the big MFG's. On the low end tools you get what you pay for, period. That being said it does not matter so much what tooling you have as it does the training you have to use that tooling correctly.

I use Delta Kits and my first hand experience is after many years "the quality of the company, tooling and resins is second to none" I like to describe the tooling as "advanced technology and design applied through simplistic delievery".

As Brent mentioned, I can provide training on DKI tooling. I am not a DKI certified trainer but I follow the reccomened techniques and have a very strong knowledge base of this tooling and wsr business. Let me know if I can help.

I like your style Eddie. Pre 911, I would have been able to do that and may have considered it. Unfortunately that day has changed this country and many of business forever so it is just not possible.

I know you love your GW and that is cool. Everybody has there preference but you have had an itch to see first hand how DKI performs for quite a while. My offer still stands, with your skill set I very easily could walk you through a repair over the phone if you really needed it. Just try it. Does not mean you have to switch and I promise I want tell anyone!!!!

Everest 4 let me throw in my 10 cents, Some of these glass repair tool manufactures advertise in every magazine under the sun, some don't, It costs LOTS of money to advertise in all these magazines, who do you think pays for all that advertising? Yes its you the next kit purchaser, the question you need to ask yourself is do you want to pay for this high cost of advertising or do you want to buy a quality set of tools that will do a first class job and have it backed up with some great training and a money back guarantee.

I too used to think a higher price meant a better device but I can tell you that I was wrong, I decided to buy the more expensive tool kit, ( It had to be better ) years later I realized I was a fool, I spent lots of money but got nothing more in return, I didn't know any better at the time, there was no Internet forums to help me, all I did was look at a flashy magazine ad and listen to a salesmans pitch over the phone, Today I would buy Delta, no question about it, it does a first class job, and its simple, Oh yes and Brent is straight up Business guy, What more do you want.
