New and needing insurance advice

Post by jackson glass-tech »

What's going on guys? I really like this forum! Lot's of good stuff so I am hoping someone can help! I have been working for a carwash doing strictly repairs for about 9 months! They pay me 35% commision which pretty good seeing as how I do about 75-125 repairs a week! But after seeing how lucrative it is for them I am trying to decide about going into business for myself! I recently purchased a delta kit and am now doing a little sidework for cash only! My question is Do you have to have any certification to do business with Safelite Solutions, Lynx Services and Alliance Claim Solutions? No one seems to be able to answer this! I call them and all I get is voicemail? And are there any other claims companies that you would recomend? Thanks for the help!!!! Jackson Glass Tech

No you do not need certifications for Safelite, Lynx or Harmon, and to the best of my knowledge you do not need certifications for any other third party administrators. However, I think it is possible that day may be coming, so in my humble opinion it is not a bad idea to get certified by either the NWRA or the NGA.
