Mr. Bill,
If the breaks are not connected I cover one with electrical tape while I repair the other. When finished with first repair, remove tape and repair second break. Tape is used to prevent premature curing if any resin leaks into that break before you have a chance to repair.

Mr. Bill

Delta Kits sells a chip savers(CS124), which is a small adhesive backed circle that keeps out moisture and contaminates until it can be repaired.

Whether the breaks are connected or not I use the same procedure. I cover one break with a chip saver while filling the other one from the impact point. If they are connected you may get both to fill from one impact point. If the 1st break is filled completely and the other break only fills partially, I cover the 1st break with a curing tab to keep the resin from leaking out and finish filling the 2nd one, then cure both at the same time.

If the breaks are not connected you don't have to worry about anything curing in the one that does not fill as long as you cover it so no resin is accidentally introduced from the surface. As Mr Bill said, other types of tape can be used for this purpose, however my choice is for something translucent so that you can make sure no resin is flowing from one break to the other. Chip savers are nice as they are easy to remove from the glass and don't leave any sticky adhesive residue behind to clean off the glass like some tapes do.
