US Auto Industry Centralized - Changes for WR?

As we move toward a centralized economy with more and more industries being run by the feds... I wonder how long until it hits windshield repair? It would be nice to have weekends off and all the other benefits of working for the government, but I enjoy the independence of being self employed. Hopefully it is at least 3 years out...
