Is this true? or pie in the sky!

Post by GLASSTIME »

Was curious about something guys. I spoke with someone locally who is a WSR Tech and told me he averaged 15-20 repairs daily. He does offer his WSR service as a freebie deal. He doesn't have a shop , yet he
Sets up a various locations (parking lots) and performs thus service.

So is this possible? Being the national average for insurance claims if I am correct is $55.00.
That would be a revenue of $825 -$1,100 a day. If at 6 days per week taking this amount of traffic happened revenue for the week
Would be $4950-$6600. With same traffic a monthly revenue would be $19800-$26400.

"Pie in the Sky" ???

Thanks in advance for all inputs!

Probably pie in the sky but then nothing's impossible. Every time I drive past one of those guys they're either reading a magazine, surfing the web or snoozing. There was one guy that I'd drive past three or four times a day for months and I NEVER saw him working. Maybe my timing was off. Then again......

I hate tent locations, however I have done them. The first time I sat at one it was for 4 1/2 maybe 5 hours, I did £495 or about $990 at the time in your funny money. Mind you we do get about £45 = $75 per repair so I think I did about 11 or 12. I cannot believe more of you guys over there are not doing it, over here the insurers are making it harder for some guys to get paid.

I am looking foward to it! I believe I would be stupid not to. I actually though want to set up at mulitiple locations. I truly feel its all in how much you put into something determines how much you will get out of it. This is true in anything you do in life.
Along with my marketing the old fashion way "beating the pavement & flyering". But 1st day in the 900's that's sounds awesome.

$900 in a day good, but not awesome. Find your site and look the part, act proffesional and be the best repairer around, stay on top of the paperwork and you can make extremely good money on tent locations.

Why do guys often look like they are not working, well if they are there say 8 hours and do 10 or so repairs they are likely as not only doing 3 hours hands on work the rest is waiting, this is th bit I hated.
