Greetings all,
It's a given that a WSR tech should protect their hands from systemic absorption from the chemicals that are used to make repairs.
Since I have very sensitive skin, but prefer not to use gloves, can anyone recommend a "liquid glove" type product that provides sufficient protection?
After some lengthy Internet searching, I found a product called "Bio-Safe". Testimonials praising it's virtues come from airline mechanics, diesel mechanics, oil-field workers, bio-hazard technicians and laboratory technicians.
Has anybody on the forum used this product (or can someone possibly recommend one that is effective)?
Thanks,
David

Re: Hand Protection
During Delta Kits’ Factory Training and Certification Course we use Benchmark’s Derma Shield. This is an over –the-counter skin protectant product which protects injured or exposed skin surfaces from harmful or annoying stimuli. Derma Shield is an effective protectant specially formulated for the use in any work place. Derma Shield can withstand repeated washings and it is safe for all skin areas. Lastly, Derma Shield is very Eco-Friendly because it does not contribute to Ozone depletion and its non-toxic.

Re: Hand Protection
Would mechanics gloves (impact) do the trick?

Re: Hand Protection
Is it better to get the aersol or the lotion in the derma shield. In the summer it doesn't take long til sweat is pouring out around the cuff of my gloves(gross I know) so I need alternate protection.
