Cleaning Deta Kits injector

I have a delta kit i bought in 2001, it still works like new. I have built up resin in the top of the injector cylinder. How can I clean it out. It is caked in and hard in the top of the cylinder where the injector screws into it. it has not gotten in the way of anything or affected my repairs. but it looks bad.
