Happy to be back

Post by OmNi »

I’ve been doing repairs for a few years now. In the beginning we had a little success followed by a quick plateau. Do to several reasons, I’ve only worked 3 of the last 4 weeks. But in the time not only did we set a company record, but I matched my working a job record when I was working over 90 hours a week. I’m not saying this with my nose in the air, I am saying this because it took a heck of a long time to see the light of potential.

One piece of advice… goal setting!

More than 100. 95% Ins. jobs ranging from 50 to 75 per job. Word of mouth has been huge. We always use chip savers with our business card. It's amazing how many times people are happy with poor work (not from us). After they see our repair, the difference speaks for itself. Like many have said before... our repairs are mobile business cards. Between a both, fleet, referrals, and insurance jobs... we are happy.

If I might ask, what are "Chip Savers"?

Chip Savers from Delta Kits are business card size and have two 1 5/8” clear adhesive circles to cover even the largest rock chips. Typically, you instruct your customers and prospective customers to cover newly acquired rock chips on their windshields with the small adhesive backed circles on the backside of the card to keep out moisture and contaminates until it can be repaired. Some technicians add their company name and phone number to the front and use Windshield Chip Savers as their business card.
