Asking for Proof Of Insurance

Do the majority of you ask the customer for Proof of Insurance?

What exactly do you look for on the Ins. card?

What if they do not have proof?

Vermont requires you to have proof of Ins in your car the card tells on it what coverage they have pretty simple

Well I just usualy ask for their liability card. If they don't have full coverage insurance they will tell you. Most people know, however for the few that don't a quick call to their agent usualy settles the matter. Another important tip here is to do newer cars. Don't go looking for the 15 year old car that looks like it hasn't been well taken care of. Hope that helps.
