Mass Registration number

Hi , I had one of my networks asking me for my Regstration # here in Mass . The Registration # is required by the Division of standards ie a fee of $400.00 approx and a $10,000 Bonded insurance for 3/years for doing work with the Local Insurance Companys ,this registratin is required for any Glass Shop or Windshield Repair shop here in Mass??? I am wondering if any other state in the USA require a RS # when you do work with the Insurance Companys????

Questions to the big Welshman, I been do fleet work for years on the south shore, my ins. agent printed off the form for the Mass Reg. number so I can start billing ins. companies ( back in the late 90's, just had to call ins. co. get a claim# have customer sign direction of payment mail a slip, wait 3 weeks deposit the check ) when that changed I didn't follow suit just stuck to my fleet accounts, however Safelite has dropped that price down to $25.00 a repair. Sorry it took so long to get to the questions.
1) Does all the questions on the apt. apply? Work comp., 2 letters of ref.,Lis. appraisor.

Any advice I would appreciate. My agent keeps getting disconnected tring to call them.
