Tempered Glass Scratch Removed!

Post by GLASSTIME »

Hello Fellow Techs,

I wanted to let all of you know I recently purchased the CO1 & PH1 Buffing Wheel & Compound.
I purchased this due to the fact that one of my Dealer Clients had a 2009 Chevy HHR that had a scratch extruding from the top of the glass down to the door framing on the drivers side glass.

I have been wanting to get into Glass Scratch Removal and have researched on many different systems. I knew of Delta Kits, Inc Glass Polishing CO1 Wheel & PH1 Glass Polishing Compound since my relationship began with Delta.

Through extensive conversation through email and phone with Brent and Korey, They helped me decide whether or not the scratch would come out and the process of using the tool.

So I went out this morning and completed the repair. Total repair time took 45 minutes. The scratch removed and I want to let you guys take a look.

This is my first ever Glass Scratch Removal and its on tempered glass. From understanding Tempered Glass is much thicker or harder than Laminate Glass.

I would encourage any of you wanting to add this service to your menu... You should try the CO1 & PH1! Its Amazing!!

Thank You Brent & Korey for your help! :D

Great job Chad!

What type of tool did you use with the buffing wheel?
