Re-Do
So here is a first for me. I broke the cardinal rule in w/s repair. After repairing a star break today I was looking at the end result when I saw air in the repaired area. It was about a 1/6 of an inch to the left of the pit about about a 1/6 of an inch in size. So thinking about what to do for about 3 minutes I decided to drill into the area with air and proceeded to go about repairing it again. I know you are not supposed to do this, but why? The repair was successful except for not being cosmetically what I am used to. My customer was happy with the end result so I guess I should be too.

Re: Re-Do
I have done that. I guess no one explained the rules to me.
I hate to drill and rarely do, but if I missed some air I would rather drill and fill it than leave it in the break.

Re: Re-Do
Well that is what I thought and that is why I made the decision to drill. I don't like to drill either because I don't like the drill hole you see after the repair is finished but I guess it is better than having to refund money.
