I hate Lynx. I've only filed two claims through their website and already I'm banging my head against the wall. No, actually I've attempted to file claims through their website.
First, I'm having issues with my account. For some reason Lynx doesn't seem to believe the password I used to sign up with is the right password. I've reset the thing twice but whenever I put in the new password (which is really my old password from when I signed up) it doesn't accept it. Sure, it will send me an email telling me what my new password is but when I attempt to log on it tells me it is invalid.
Second, I'm approved for their service as well as Allstate and State Farm yet when I go to ClaimLaunch the only insurance company available to me is Auto-Owners and fat lot of good that does me when I'm filing a State Farm claim!
Third, this service is terrible! The only way you can contact them is through their online contract form. There is no number I can call to talk to a real person. What kind of company is this? Why is this is the only way to try and resolve any issues you might have? This is freaking terrible!
I'm seriously considering dumping insurance altogether over this! If I'm having this much trouble this early in the game then I can only expect it to be this way forever.
There I'm done.

There is a phone number on the dispatch paperwork they send you after you phone in a claim. I have never used Claim Launch but just checked it out on my account and the only two on mine are auto-owners and allstate. I am not even sure what Claim Launch is. Here is what to do. First if you get a customer that uses an insurance company that is under LYNX, just call the number on the back of the insurance card get the customer to verify the damage, etc. Lynx will issue you a dispatch #. You will then need to submit the invoice electronically to Lynx using a compatible software provider such as (e-direct glass or many others) or another company you can fax your invoice to and they will submit it for you.
Maybe someone can chime in and explain Claim Launch but I believe that is used if you want to file the claim for the customer or possibly verify coverage...not really sure(I never used it). I would not wait that long to find out if your customer is covered. Just call the number on the back of the insured's card and in 5 min you should have a dispatch/approval # for the repair.
Don't let it get the best of you after you have done a few it is a pretty simple process.

Re: Already I hate Lynx with a passion
Lynx is very unpredictable these days. There are weeks I will get 5 calls and there are weeks I will get 30 calls.....most of these being State Farm.
There is a number for lynx, and I can give it to you if you have not gotten it yet. Just PM me and I will give it to you.
The best, most hassle free way of submitting your claims is by signing up with a 3rd party processing company. This usually only takes a day and you're good to go!
I can also help you with this, PM me and I will share what I know.
I have not been with lynx as long as some Techs, (I joined in 2006)....but I still know my way around the system.
