Storage Ideas??
Just a thought,
I was noticing with all the extra tools One can accumilate like myself what are some ides in Storage?
When you purchase your Kit from Delta its all neatly organized in a tool box with cut out foam where everything has its Place.
I'd like to keep it Clean yet some other tools are beginning to take it over. I also know that the "Tool Box"
That I got with my kit has to have a "Wieght" Limit to it and don't want to exceed that amount.
Korey does Delta offer a Tool Box that's purpose is for additional tools?
Or would it just be beneficial to get a Tool Box sort of like the Delta Box from like Wal-Mart?
Where would I find the "Foam" padding inserts?
I'm a bit of a "Neat Freak" & I'm beginning to get Ill when I see the clutter in my "Box"
Thanks for any advice!

Re: Storage Ideas??
Chad,
We have blank tool boxes, and from time to time we have a few different styles that we purchased as samples but did not end up using for one reason or another. We have the foam custom fitted, but if you wanted to cut your own you can buy it from fabric and upholstry stores pretty much anywhere. Just tell them the thickness and density your want and cut it with a snap blade knife. It may not be quite as pretty, but it will help you organize. Did you see the boxes Korey listed in the for sale forum? I think we have a couple of different styles that might be interesting to you.
I always just used several of the exact same sized boxes so that they stack and store easily.

Re: Storage Ideas??
Hi . I to had to many tools and not enough cut out holes for them so I went to Lowes and bought a 3 drawer stainless tool box with the pop up lid . i put all my" every repair tools" on the top with the pop up lid . I put all my accessories in the drawers . Paper work in the top drawer. It works very good and is always orginized . I drive my truck to as many repairs as I can . I work off the tailgate of my truck when set up in parking lots. it works good as a "staition " to clean my tools and keep up with all of the stuff I use . I also bolted it to the bed of my truck right behind my tailgate. It has a great locking system in it . so everything stays safe. Just my two cents .

Brent,
I will go and check those out.
I dont imagine my cut out work will look as good as that of a Robot but at least everything will have its place.
Thanks!

Re: Storage Ideas??
Hi, I've been using large tackle box for the last 10 years, under the top cover has enough room for 4 bridges, injectors, mirrors, and uv screens, open the front door, you will have multible draws for resins, razors ect., with a large area under the draws for uv lights, drills, and my dry star. The reason I use this set up over a tool box style case is, it helps me keep the sun, wind and sand out of my kit, but I will still have everything at my fingers when I need it. Then I can take the kit inside at night to clean what I used that day.

Sunshine: GW used to use and ship this modell too -some years ago. I have seen those at Wal Mart.
Re: Storage Ideas??
Also available at Sportsmans Warehouse and Gander Mountain. The top section has enough clearance for "high profile" bridges, I drape a towel over them, and the drawers will minimize UV exposure to your resins. There will probably be some debate about standing the bottles up as opposed to laying them on their sides. If you're a "stand up guy", you can cut foam and fit in that right side area at the top.

Re: Storage Ideas??
DD: our bottles are always stored in the verical position as well, that became an option with our new tool boxes because we stopped working with those ''tackle'' boxes. With that being said; we have used those ''tackle'' boxes for some ten years.
