Re: I'm thinking about it....I need help/advice
Hi, well, you're well on the way but far from complete. How about a training, UV dome and Moisture Dryer? Very important.
As much as we all want to keep our costs down but you cannot avoid investing some more, at least the three I mentioned above and before in another post.
Again: be good.

I have another question: mostly for the ppl who work for Delta Kits or those who know. What if a friend of mine has a delta kit and i buy it from him(fairly new), would or could i still get the same customer support from delta kits though i did not buy directly? if so how or why not????? Thanks

Absolutely! At Delta Kits we treat everyone who calls in like they are our biggest customer. In fact, we even provide customer support to technicians who don't use our system. Feel free to call in anytime.

jonathan,
why do you guys help people who do not have your products? does that same rule apply to getting trained if you dont have delta kits??? if i were to attend your training in OR, what airport would i be arriving at? now a question to all, including jon, are there guys out there that have been working only part time, if so how well are you doing and if i did start part time, realistically could i and how long would it take to do this full time(approx., i know it depends on my work ethic)

Re: I'm thinking about it....I need help/advice
jwill,
There are technicians out there who have another company's system, but still use our resin. We try to help them out as much as we can. Obviously, we are unable to tell them how to use equipment other than ours, but we are able to help them know what to look for and offer suggestions on how to get the damage filled properly. We like to promote the windshield repair industry and ROLAGS regardless of the equipment being used. Please call in and I will be happy to explain both in-house and on-the-road training to you.

On The Road Training is an intensive hands-on training course conducted by Delta Kits factory instructors. They will teach you how to take your repair quality to the next level. This training is held in conjunction with trade shows. For example, the 9th annual Mobile Tech Expo is January 14th-16th located at the Harborview Center in Clearwater, Florida and we will conduct a training course on the 17th.

When I ordered my kit through Delta, it was actually Brent that I was chatting to, he said to follow his suggestion in what to order. He said to order the second bridge. Well, I thought I would save money and just order one bridge. And guess what, he was right. No sooner did I get my kit and begin making my repairs did I realize I could really use another bridge. Now I understand why he suggested the second bridge. Didn't at the time. You will want two bridges unless you have lots of time on your hands. Not to mention saving a little money on the shipping.
