Hey everyone,
I went today and looked at a customers 300 gallon fish tank. It looks as if where they had the magnetic cleaner against the glass and slid it around caused some scratches to the glass.
I know there isnt a dedicated "GLASS SCRATCH REMOVAL" area so I figured Id post it here... Maybe one can be developed soon.. Hint, Hint Brent!
I will be doing this tuesday and will post pictures following.

Be REAL careful with the seals on that tank. If you flex the tank in any way you can cause the seals in the corners to flex and that will cause a leak. Be there.....done that!

Re: Fish Tank Scratches!
We have done plenty of work in this area. However: it was always on a bigger size, we did never any small. The dimensions should be right. We simply refuse some jobs because of the economics, sometimes it is better to either leave the tank as it is, namely scratched, or just get a new one instead of working on it (and travelling there and all that, remember: we're mobile only). Some tanks are just too cheap (in price) to work on. There is a lot more to tell, but it depends on the size of the tank, what the customer wants, inside or outside and the system you're using.

T2S:
I cannot speak for Brent or DK but they do not offer a system for scratch removal other than a buffing wheel and compound. It sure has it's place, but it cannot be compared with other systems. I am not sure but that may be the reason why there isn't a dedicated section here on the board. It would probably create misunderstandings if they need to talk about the various other systems, because those questions will start to come, and that would also bring a lot off work for the moderators to keep the other system vedors away from the board -advertizing and/or supporting their stuff. DK is very good in what they do, namely: windshield repair and headlight restoration, training and supporting their customers and others who care and/or are interested. As far as I know they will never introduce something new that they're not completely satisfied with, it is always better to not follow others just for the sake of ''having something available''.
Sometimes you better focus on the things you're really good at.
