i just got the newsletter today talking about the new hlr kit. i definitly will be investing in the 3" adaptor soon. but i was wondering what else was different besides skipping the polishing stage? and how does not polishing affect the overall end result?

Thanks for reading the newsletter! You will always find some interesting information in it, such as tech tips, new product alerts, and monthly product specials. Originally, the headlight restoration system came with a generic random orbital. Since then we upgraded that tool to the Metabo which is a German made random orbital. The backing plate on the Metabo has been modified to a true 3”. It gives the tool more clearance and allows it to be used in tighter spaces. Also, there are fewer sanding steps making for faster restorations without hindering the end result. The polishing step is still present, we have simply substituted a polishing disc for the liquid polish.
