Battery supply unit?

Last week I received a delta battery pack with a kit I got from delta, I put on the charger, charged it according to the directions that came with the kit, light was green ect., seeing I had it in my kit I left my deep cycle battery at home after reding what others can use the battery pack for. My problem is that I tried using it with my blow drier, the dryer hardley worked, end up using customers car for the drier, then when the windshield warmed up to 70 degrees, i tried using it with my dry star, there wasn't enough power to even get the element to glow. What are you using it for? or is there just something wrong with mine and I should get it replaced?

Our battery packs are not meant to work with a blow dryer, only lights and moisture evaporators. If it would not power the moisture evaporator there is definately something wrong. Check the fuse before doing anything else. If the fuse is good try charging overnight one more time and try the moisture evaporator again. If it still does not work give us a call. We'll get you an RMA number and make arrangements to replace the battery and/or charger. On a new unit it's almost never the battery, but it's usually best if we just get everything back here so we can test it properly.

Brent, Thank you for your quick post, I will leave on charger overnight, I was under the impression by the instuctions that you charged it till the light turned solid green. The dry star did get warm, but the element never got hot and turn orange.

Solid green does mean fully charged, but since you had a problem I don't want to take any chances. The coil should get red hot within 30 seconds but give it a full minute and let me know how long it took. We should know from that if we need to arrange to exchange the product for you or not.
