I would like to invite you to Eugene, Oregon so you can get hands-on training from Delta Kits factory trained and certified instructors but at your earliest convenience please call into Delta Kits so I can walk you through a windshield repair. Based upon your posts you are missing a lot of essential steps when it comes to performing a successful windshield repair. For instance, attaching the inspection mirror and inspecting the damage. I always check the pit size and check for moisture and other contaminants (things aren't always as they appear). I would clean the pit with my probe/scribe and after the repair has been scraped I would lightly brush the debris away from the pit with a paper towel. There is so much to cover, that is why I feel it is best that you seek hands-on training. Please email me so we can schedule a time to walk you through a windshield repair.
