wow...lol, i just wanted to hear some success stories, we all have different ways to be motivated and mine is of hearing of other peoples success, thats the only reason i even started a business, so i could have a reputable name (believe me, i do my homework and practice ALL the time) and be successful off of it.

Its just, for some reason, satisfying hearing people making a great living off this business, and its great to hear especially when business is slow.

eliteagr,

I wanted to give some time before I chimed in on this one. Let me say you are not alone. In fact I too enjoy hearing others success stories in the industries I am envolved with. As I do agree to develop your own success stories and be careful what you read. But, as we all know true success doesn't lay with our business or health or how much money we all have at some point or another, To me True success comes from having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

You have to at least commend the man on his accomplishments! And "In the Chips" is a great story of success!

Do what feels right and continue to learn as much as you can. I watch videos over and over as it helps me to stay up to par. I listen and surround myself with postive like minded individuals. Another thing you can try is find yourself a good mentor. Someone that has had or does have his or her own business and is very successful at it.

Truth be told my Mentor is a gentleman in which became my customer 5 years ago. The more and more I spoke with this guy the more I realized how "Business Smart" he was. The nature of his business is Private Investigatons. As he may have a completely different line of work or be in a totally different field our business' are much alike.

I have received a welth of knowledge from this great friend and I am very pleased and happy he called me some 5 years ago to "Detail" his wifes vehicle.

Do the best job possible, stay positive and true and you will be a success!!! :D

eliteagr: my initial reply wasn't to put you off neither to demotivate you.
I am glad to learn that you practise all the time and that you've done your homework, well done.
I am sure that you will be finding ways, other than discounting your current prices, to increase your sales.
There are indeed different way to improve your sales, always, no matter how good you are, but ''what works for me, doesn't have to work for you''.
It depends on, amongst other factors, how you work and your area. Need to go, repair work is waiting.
