For those of you that are not members of the networks, do you still work with the insurance company billing them direct or do they refer you to the networks as a non participating glass shop, and are the prices the same if you were a network member shop?
There use to be a form that some of you were using with your invoice to prompted the insurance to pay the shop direct.
Does anyone still use the forms and do they comply with it?

Sucess billing Ins. Direct?
Just Chippen Away
Re: Sucess billing Ins. Direct?
I am on the networks, and their are just a handfull of insurance companies that I bill direct. The only drawback I see is having to wait on the check in the mail, which usually is under a month. On the upside, I charge full price in these instances. In most cases, in my recollection, I call the insurance claims department on my own without the customer present, which makes for more pleasant experience for the customer and myself.
